There is no stockroom behind this shop. When an order comes in, a blank shirt in the color and size you picked goes to a press, the design is printed on it, and it is packed and shipped. Before that, your shirt did not exist.
What it costs you
Time. Printing takes 3–5 business days before anything ships, and delivery adds another 8–12 — 11 to 17 business days in total. A shop holding stock can beat that.
The range printed on every page is the range, not the best case.
What it buys you
Fifteen colors instead of three. A shop that holds inventory has to guess how many Berry 2XL shirts will sell, and guessing wrong is expensive. So most of them carry black, white, and maybe grey. The vintage crest can be offered in Bay, Seafoam, Chambray, Orchid and Blossom because none of them are sitting in a box costing money. Newer designs start in white and gain colors as they earn them.
Sizes through 4XL. The same logic. Larger sizes sell in smaller numbers, which is exactly why so many graphic tee shops stop at XL.
Nothing is thrown away. The apparel industry destroys a great deal of unsold stock. A shirt made for one order does not end up in that pile.
What it means when you want to cancel
This is the catch. Once a shirt goes on the press it cannot be stopped, and it cannot be sold to anyone else, because it was made for you. So cancellation works within 12 hours of ordering and before production starts — after that, it is genuinely too late.
Once the shirt reaches you, though, the door reopens: you have 30 days to send it back or exchange it, for any reason, on a prepaid label we pay for. Made to order limits when an order can be stopped. It does not limit your return.
Where it happens
Printing takes place at our production partner in China, and the parcel ships from there directly to your address in the United States. That is the reason transit takes 8–12 business days rather than two, and we would rather explain the number than hide it.
The import duties and taxes on that shipment are paid by us before it leaves, so nothing is collected from you on delivery. If anyone ever contacts you asking for a fee to release a Modaven package, it is not from us — forward it to support@modavenpteltd.store.
We do not describe these shirts as printed or made in the United States, and the phrase “Made in USA” appears nowhere on this site.
Where returns go
To our returns center at 14200 Central Ave, Chino, California. You will never be asked to ship a return overseas, and we send the prepaid label ourselves. The detail is in the returns policy.
