A small shop in Albuquerque
Modaven makes graphic t-shirts about family. The company is one person, and the shirts are printed to order rather than held in stock. Being straight about how that works is more useful to you than a story about a studio that does not exist.
The shop is operated by THE OAK PRINTS HARBOURS LLC, a limited liability company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is no warehouse, no call center, and no design team.
How your order is made, in plain terms
Nothing is printed before you order it. When your order comes in it goes to our production partner in China, where the design is printed, packed, and shipped directly to your address in the United States. Printing takes 3-5 business days. Delivery takes another 8-12 business days, for a total of 11-17 business days from order to doorstep.
We say this openly because it explains the delivery window, and because a customer is entitled to know where the thing they bought comes from. We do not claim our shirts are printed or made in the United States, and we do not use the phrase “Made in USA” anywhere on this site.
Because each shirt is printed for a single order, a design can be offered in many colors and in sizes through 4XL without stock being held in any of them. The color and size range differs from design to design, and each product page lists exactly which combinations exist. It also means we cannot ship same-day, and we will not claim to.
You pay nothing on delivery
Import duties and taxes on the shipment are paid by us before the parcel leaves. You are not asked for anything when it arrives. The item price plus the shipping shown at checkout, and any state sales tax calculated there, is the whole amount.
If anyone ever contacts you asking for a payment to release a Modaven package, write to us before paying anything.

Returns come back to California, not to China
Returns and exchanges go to our returns center at 14200 Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710, and we send you a prepaid label to get them there. You will never be asked to ship a return overseas.
What we do not do
We do not run flash countdowns, we do not show made-up stock counters, and we do not display review counts we have not earned. We do not name a garment brand we cannot document, and we do not publish fabric specifications we have not verified. Modaven is new. When there are customer reviews, they will be from customers.
