Getting hold of us

How do I contact you?

Email support@modavenpteltd.store — answered within 24 business hours — or call +1 305-868-2136. Email is the faster of the two for anything with an order number attached, because it lets us look the order up before replying. We answer Monday through Friday; a message sent on a weekend or a U.S. federal holiday gets a reply on the next business day.

Ordering and production

How long before my order ships?

3-5 business days. Every shirt is printed after you order it, so there is no shelf to pull it from. Orders placed before 4:00 PM MST on a business day enter production the same day; orders after that, or on a weekend or U.S. federal holiday, enter production the next business day. We do not shift that cut-off for daylight saving.

Where are the shirts printed?

In China. Your order is printed to order by our production partner there and shipped directly to your address in the United States. That is why delivery takes 11-17 business days rather than three. We do not describe our shirts as printed or made in the United States.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, if you contact us within 12 hours of placing it and it has not already entered production — whichever comes first. After a shirt goes on the press it cannot be stopped, and it cannot be resold to anyone else, so we cannot cancel it at that point.

Can I change the shipping address after ordering?

Only before the order enters production. Once it is printed and labeled, the address is fixed. We cannot recover a package delivered to an address that was mistyped at checkout, so please check it before you pay.

Do you hold stock?

No. Nothing is printed before it is ordered. That is why a design can be offered in many colors and in sizes through 4XL without stock being held in any of them, and also why nothing ships the same day.

Shipping, duties and tax

How long does delivery take?

8-12 business days in transit from China, on top of the 3-5 business days of printing. Total: 11-17 business days from the day you order. Business days do not include weekends or U.S. federal holidays.

What does shipping cost?

A flat $7.95 on orders under $60, and free on orders of $60 or more. One rate no matter how many shirts are in the order. A two-shirt order already clears the threshold.

Will I pay customs or import duties?

No. Your order ships from China, and the import duties and taxes on it are paid by us before the parcel leaves. Nothing is owed when it arrives. If anyone ever contacts you asking for a fee to release a Modaven package, do not pay it — contact us instead.

Is sales tax included in the price?

Product prices are shown without sales tax. Where your state charges sales tax on this kind of purchase, it is calculated and displayed at checkout before you pay, alongside the shipping charge. Nothing else is added after that, and nothing is charged on delivery.

Where do you ship?

The United States only. Checkout accepts addresses in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, and APO, FPO and DPO military addresses. We do not ship to any other country, and international addresses cannot be entered at checkout. Deliveries outside the continental United States can sit at the far end of the 8-12 business day transit window.

My tracking number is not updating

Tracking usually takes 24-48 hours to start showing movement after the shipping email arrives, and an international shipment can sit between scans for longer than a domestic one. If tracking has not moved after four business days, contact us.

My package says delivered but it is not here

Check with anyone else at the address and look around entryways and mailrooms first — most packages marked delivered turn up within 24 hours. If it does not, contact us within seven days of the delivery scan and we will open a trace with the carrier and work it out with you from there.

Sizing and fit

How does it fit?

Relaxed. The shirt runs generously through the chest and shoulders, and it is cut as a unisex garment rather than a men's or women's fit. If you want it closer to the body, order one size down from your usual tee.

What sizes do you carry?

The Home Family Love vintage crest runs S through 4XL in black and white. The other thirteen colors are carried in a narrower size range, so choose a color on the product page to see which sizes are actually available in it. The remaining designs are currently offered in white only, in L, 2XL and 3XL.

Will it shrink?

Wash cold and tumble dry low and you should see very little change. Hot water and high heat will shrink any cotton garment.

Returns, exchanges and refunds

What is the return window?

30 days from the date your order is delivered. That covers both faulty shirts and shirts you simply changed your mind about. The shirt needs to be unworn, unwashed, and have its tags intact.

Do I have to ship my return to China?

No. Returns go to our returns center at 14200 Central Ave, Chino, CA 91710, on a prepaid domestic label we send you. You never ship anything overseas.

Who pays for return shipping?

We do. Every return gets a prepaid label you download and print, whether the shirt is faulty or you changed your mind. Return shipping is free and it is never deducted from your refund.

Can I exchange for a different size or color?

Yes. Contact us with your order number and what you would like instead. We send the prepaid label, and the replacement shirt goes into production once your return is on its way back. Because it is a new print shipped from China, allow the same 11-17 business days for it to arrive.

Is there a restocking fee?

No.

How long does a refund take?

We issue your refund within 7 days of the return arriving at our returns center. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time to post it to your account. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

The product itself

What can you tell me about the shirt itself?

It is a relaxed-fit unisex cotton tee, printed to order. We publish the flat measurements for every size on the Size guide, and the photographs on each product page show the actual print on the actual shirt colors.

We do not publish a garment brand name, a fabric weight, or a country of manufacture for the blank, because we are not in a position to document those to you if you asked. We would rather say that than print a specification we cannot stand behind.
